About Us
Established in 2015 and previously located at the historic Distillery Commons in Louisville, Kentucky, Weightless Float Spa & Wellness was founded by Chelsea Powers and Greg Ellis with a vision to create a welcoming space for rest, healing, and modern self-care.
As Louisville’s first float tank, massage, and infrared sauna + cold plunge center, we’ve spent nearly a decade introducing the city to innovative wellness experiences. As we've grown, so has our vision. Today, we’re proud to expand into something even more transformative: Louisville’s first modern luxury bathhouse and float center in a brand new location!
In 2023, Weightless hosted the National Float Conference in Louisville; bringing over 1,000 attendees to our city for a 3 day conference on floatation and wellness.

We are so excited to share this news very soon! We want to keep that on the down low while we are finishing up the bulk of the construction. So, it will be a surprise! But we can say that its only a few minuntes away from our old location and we will still be in the heart of the city.

We will be honoring all member credits that expired during our closure — no questions asked.
For non-member credits purchased at dollar value, we'll be honoring those too for a limited time after we reopen.
If you've received an automated message about expiring credits, don't worry — those credits aren't lost. Just check in with us after we open and we'll get you taken care of.

Our New Home Is Almost Ready
We've been hard at work building out our new location, and we're in the home stretch. Final inspections and city approvals have kept us on our toes, but construction is moving and it's looking incredible.
We've learned not to announce a grand opening until it's truly grand opening time — so we're not throwing out a date until we can stand behind it.
What we can tell you: it's coming in 2026!
