Float Facilitator/Maintenance Tech
Weightless Float Center is seeking part time and full time help. You will assist in the day to day operations of a Float Center, including routine maintenance, cleaning, customer care, and center management tasks. Tasks include checking clients in, answering phones, booking appointments, cleaning, managing water chemistry and restocking and sanitizing rooms between floats.
Must be adaptable and calm, as you will be working with a diverse clientele who expect a premium level of service and professionalism. The position expects a degree of sincere and intuitive conversation with our customers. At Weightless we strive to create a brief refuge from daily stresses. Therefore, we are seeking an individual who is both efficient, yet exudes relaxation and puts our guests at ease. It’s a unique mix!
Our business hours are from 8:30am to 8pm Wed-Mon, closed on Tuesdays. The morning shift is 8:30am-2:30pm, and the evening shift is 2:30pm ‘til roughly 9pm.
No specific work or academic qualification is required, though good client service experience is useful. We are looking for people who are reliable, professional, friendly, articulate, easy going, and most of all ... relaxed. You should also have an interest in floating and/or first hand float experience. Some level of strength and stamina is required. You must be able to stand or be on feet for most of the shift and lift 50lbs.
