When we first opened nearly a decade ago, we set out to bring float therapy to Louisville — a new experience unlike anything else in the city at the time.
A lot has changed since then — in the world, in wellness, and in what people are looking for when they need a break.
Our next chapter involves more than float therapy. Weightless will be introducing Louisville to the first modern bathhouse in the city; merging timeless wellness practices with the current need for both community and personal reflection.
We’re reopening soon in a brand-new location, with expanded services and a fresh vision, but the same Weightless you know and love. We can’t wait to share more soon.
WHY A BATHHOUSE?
Bathhouses have existed across cultures and centuries — from Turkish hammams and Japanese onsens to Roman baths and Russian banyas. These spaces weren’t just about bathing; they were places of restoration, connection, and shared ritual.
While much of that tradition has faded from modern life, we believe it’s time for a thoughtful revival — one that meets the needs of today.
