Tips for A Great Float
Arrive On Time
Don’t Rush to Relax.
Avoid Caffeine & Stimulants
Skip caffeine, nicotine, and other stimulants before your float. These can interfere with your ability to fully relax in the tank.
No Shaving Beforehand
Avoid shaving right before your session—Epsom salt can sting sensitive skin. If you have small cuts, we provide Vaseline to help protect them.
What to Wear
You’ll be in your own private suite, so wear whatever makes you comfortable. Most guests float nude for the full sensory experience.
Eat Light
For the most relaxing float, avoid heavy meals beforehand. A light, healthy snack 1.5–2 hours before your float is ideal.
Use the Restroom First
One simple way to avoid distractions—use the restroom before you float!

Get your body or mind ready to relax.
Exercise
Yoga, running, or light resistance training before your session helps loosen the body and calm the mind.
Pre Float Guided Meditation
People float for all sorts of reasons, but a common benefit of floating is relaxation. Meditation has shown to be very effective for relaxing the mind and body, both in the float tank and outside of it. This is a short meditation you can read anytime, or before a float.
