Nothing says “quality time” like 90min. of isolation at Weightless Float Center.
Jokes aside, have you ever ‘gone floatin’ ‘ with your significant other? Sure, you’ve been to Bar Vetti, strolled the whimsical paths at Cherokee, and maybe thrown some hatchets at Flying Axes, but have you climbed into a sensory deprivation tank with bae and tried to simultaneously astral project?! — that part about trying to induce an OBE is just another joke, we all know most OBEs happen unintentionally…
Floating—either in different tanks at the same time or tandem with a partner— is very cool and certainly is, by definition, a unique experience; there really is no way to access that certain physical and mental state other than inside a sensory deprivation tank. Besides floating, we also have infrared sauna. A good portion of guests to Weightless pair a sauna with their float session— we call it a ‘flauna’ (float + sauna). Just imagine sitting in a personal, cozy infrared sauna with your partner, then putting on bathrobes, taking showers, and relaxing into the weightlessness of 90min of bliss. There’s really nothing better, especially in the winter when its freezing and gray outside.
Either before, after, or between sessions, we always encourage guests to hang out in the lounge and sip some complimentary tea, eat some complimentary snacks, or flip-through or sign the guest book, and check out our library books or coloring books— there’s something for everyone in the Lounge.
There’s no rush to leave. It’s silly to assume that a float starts and ends with the float tank, so feel free to extend your experience by tailoring it best to your level of chill. We have a great selection of CBD products in the Reception area including pre-rolls, cookies, gummies, facemasks, and tinctures, as well as other food, drinks, and hydration essentials. Need a stick of sage or a piece of palo santo or if want your house to smell like Weightless take home a box of our incense.
