Is a Weightless Float Clean? Louisville, Kentucky.png

The float tank’s solution (water + salt = solution) is SO SALTY (Epsom salt aka Magnesium Sulfate) it’s MORE SALTY THAN THE DEAD SEA!

[5lbs of salt per GALLON of water!]

Do you know why it’s called The Dead Sea? Because it’s so salty nothing can live it in! So the float tank is, in a sense, “more dead” than that! So we got that going for us, but that’s not all…!

cartridge Filter and powerful water circulation:

  • Just like a pool or a hot tub— whether it's in someones back yard or at a hotel— we use a filtration system (cartridge filter).

  • The filter we use in incredibly fine (1 micron, which is 1/100th of a human hair).

  • It filters all of the water in the float tank 3x in 15min (once every 5min)

UV Light

  • UV water filtration and purification has been used for over 100yrs to make drinking water safe.

  • UV Light inhibits RNA production (kills stuff)

  • Today it is used by some of the largest cities to purify their municipal drinking water supplies; these cities include New York, Rotterdam, Seattle, and many others in Europe, Asia, and North America.

35% Hydrogen Peroxide (H202), food grade; plant based.

  • That brown bottle of hydrogen peroxide under you sink is 3% H202!

  • Hydrogen peroxide is a natural chemical made from 2 parts Hydrogen and 2 parts Oxygen (it's natural, and plant derived).

  • It is an oxidizer, so it breaks stuff down.

PRE FLOAT SHOWER

  • the prefloat shower ensures the floater's body is free from natural body oil, lotion, lint, loose hair, dirt, and any other fun stuff.

NO BATHING SUIt* (*optional)

  • Not wearing a bathing suit ensures that no outside contaminants such as dirt or debris are being brought in from a quarry, river, lake, or swimming pool/hot tub, but bathing suits are OK to wear while floating, it wont effect our solution!

BODY TEMPERATURE WATER

  • the water is body temperature so it won't make you sweat, like in a hot tub.

THERE'S ONLY 1 PERSON IN THE TANK AT A TIME!

  • Tandem floats are still OK!!
